Crypto Titan "Pomp" Set to Raise $750M to Buy Bitcoin Amid Trump-Fueled Market Revival

Anthony Pompliano, a leading voice in the crypto space, is preparing to take the helm as CEO of a new public company with plans to raise $750 million to purchase Bitcoin, riding the wave of renewed interest in digital assets following Donald Trump’s vocal support for crypto.

Under the pending deal, Pompliano’s firm ProCapBTC aims to raise $500 million via equity and $250 million through convertible debt, as part of a SPAC merger with Columbus Circle Capital 1. The funds will be deployed to build a massive Bitcoin portfolio — mirroring the strategy of MicroStrategy under Michael Saylor.

While terms are still being negotiated and not yet finalized, this move signals a strong revival in U.S. IPO activity for crypto-related firms — a sector that had been relatively quiet until Trump’s recent pro-crypto stance reignited investor excitement.
